James Stone

James Stone founded Vindex Intelligence after losing his father, who struggled to understand his credit and had no affordable help disputing what was reported about him. Vindex exists so that the same information, the same statutes, and the same dispute process are available to anyone with an internet connection.

He leads product and content at Vindex: how credit reports are parsed, how each dispute letter is structured, which statute a letter cites, and how deadlines are tracked from the day a letter is mailed. Every consumer-facing page on this site is written or reviewed against the statute text it references.

Vindex Intelligence is software, not a credit repair organization. James's position is consistent across the product: consumers exercise their own rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and the software makes that process faster, more organized, and easier to understand.
