7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a 7-day refund window for new software subscriptions, provided that no dispute documents have been generated, downloaded, or mailed during that period. Once the AI has been used to generate documentation, the subscription fee becomes non-refundable due to the immediate provisioning of compute resources and document preparation services.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Dashboard → Billing or through the secure customer billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals. Access to the software will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.

Non-Refundable Items

Mailing credits and individual letter generation fees are non-refundable once the service has been initiated due to immediate costs incurred with third-party postage and processing.

Chargebacks

We ask customers to contact us first before initiating a chargeback with their card issuer. Most billing concerns can be resolved quickly through direct support. Accounts associated with fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.

Who processes my payment?
All payments are securely processed by Stripe. Vindex Intelligence never sees or stores your full card number. Your statement will show a descriptor referencing Vindex Intelligence or Link.com.
Where do I update my card or download invoices?
Open Dashboard → Billing and click "Manage billing" to launch the secure Stripe customer portal. From there you can update payment methods, download invoices, and view your billing history.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancel anytime from Dashboard → Billing via the customer portal. Your access continues until the end of the current billing cycle — you will not be charged again.
Do I get a refund for unused time after I cancel?
No. Subscription fees are not prorated on cancellation. Outside the 7-day satisfaction window (and only if no documents were generated), software subscription charges are non-refundable.
What happens to my mailing credits if I cancel?
Unused mailing credits remain on your account but are non-refundable. Credits expire 12 months after purchase. Once a letter is queued for postage the underlying credit is consumed and cannot be returned.
Why are mailing credits and per-letter fees non-refundable?
Mailing credits cover real third-party costs — USPS postage, certified mail tracking, paper, printing, and fulfillment — that we pay the moment a letter is processed. Those costs cannot be reversed by us.
My payment failed — will I lose access immediately?
No. Stripe automatically retries failed payments for several days. You will see a banner in Dashboard → Billing asking you to update your card. Access is only revoked after all retry attempts are exhausted.
Can I get a refund if the bureaus reject my dispute?
No. Vindex Intelligence is a software platform that prepares documents — outcomes are determined by the credit bureaus and original creditors, not by us. Successful dispute outcomes are never guaranteed and are not a basis for a refund.
Should I dispute the charge with my bank?
Please contact us first. Most billing issues are resolved within a few business days. Filing a chargeback before contacting support may result in account suspension.
