Letter engine

AI dispute letter generator for credit report errors

Upload a credit report and Vindex reads every tradeline, flags the inaccurate, unverifiable or re-aged items, picks the strongest statute for each one, and drafts a bureau-ready dispute letter you can print, mail or send from your own email address. No template library to dig through — the letter is written for the specific violation found on the file in front of you.

What you get

Statute-matched drafting

Every paragraph cites the provision that actually applies — FCRA §609 for disclosure, §611 for reinvestigation, §623 for furnisher accuracy, FDCPA §809 for validation, FCBA for billing errors. Generic 'please remove' letters get stonewalled; cited letters get worked.

Method-of-Verification counters

When a bureau returns 'verified as accurate' with no procedure described, the engine drafts the MOV demand asking who they spoke to, what they reviewed and when — the round that moves stalled items.

Round-aware escalation

Round 2 never repeats Round 1. The generator reads the prior response, changes the legal angle, and escalates toward furnisher direct disputes and a CFPB complaint when deadlines lapse.

Your name on the letter

Letters carry the consumer's return address and signature block. Nothing states the letter was machine-drafted, and nothing brands it as ours.

Bulk generation

Select a batch of flagged items and generate every letter for all three bureaus at once, deduplicated so the same account is not disputed twice in one round.

Deliver it any way you want

Download print-ready PDFs with certified-mail formatting, email the letter to a client, or text them a secure link so they can review and sign before it goes out.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Upload the report

Drop in a PDF or photos from any bureau or monitoring service. OCR handles scanned pages.

  2. Step 2

    Review flagged items

Each finding shows the tradeline, the reason it is disputable and the statute behind it, with a confidence note.

  3. Step 3

    Generate letters

Pick items, generate per-bureau letters, and edit any sentence before it goes out.

  4. Step 4

    Track the 30-day clock

The reinvestigation timer starts on send. Overdue bureaus surface for MOV or CFPB escalation.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the eight objections we hear most often from operators evaluating Vindex against CreditRepairCloud, DisputeFox, DisputeBee, and DIY workflows.

Does an AI dispute letter generator actually work with the credit bureaus?
Bureaus process letters through automated systems, so what matters is whether the letter identifies the account precisely, states the specific inaccuracy, and demands the statutory action. Vindex drafts against the item found on your report and cites the controlling provision, which is exactly what a reinvestigation request has to contain. Nothing can guarantee a deletion — accurate, verifiable information stays on the file.
Will the bureaus reject a letter because it was generated by software?
Letters are formatted as ordinary consumer correspondence with the consumer's own return address and signature. There is no software branding or AI disclosure on the document. What can trigger a rejection is an unsigned letter with no proof of identity, so the generator includes the identity attachment checklist with each letter.
What is a Method of Verification letter and when do I send it?
It is the follow-up you send after a bureau reports an item 'verified' without describing how. Under FCRA §611(a)(7) you can demand a description of the reinvestigation procedure, including who was contacted. Vindex drafts it automatically as soon as a verified-as-accurate response is logged against a disputed item.
Can I edit the generated letter?
Yes. Every letter opens in an editor before it is finalized. You can rewrite paragraphs, add or remove attachments, change the mailing address block, and save the edited version to the client's folder for the audit trail.
Do I need a subscription to generate one letter?
No. The one-time Analyze & Dispute option covers a single report analysis plus one drafted letter. Ongoing rounds, MOV counters and CFPB escalation come with the monthly plans.

Accuracy, authorship & compliance

How the letters are drafted

Every letter is generated from a reviewed template, cites the statute that actually applies to the item type, and is shown to you in full before it is sent. You sign and mail it — nothing is filed on your behalf. Read the full methodology.

Software, not a credit repair organization

Vindex Intelligence is self-service software. It is not a credit repair organization, law firm, or credit counseling agency, and it does not provide legal advice. You can dispute items yourself for free directly with the bureaus — Vindex organizes and accelerates that work.

No guaranteed outcomes

Accurate, timely, and verifiable information cannot be removed from a credit report. No one can promise a specific score increase or deletion, and we don't. Results depend on your file and on how each furnisher responds.
